And they said, Come on, let us build ourselves a city and a tower, the top of which [may reach] to the heavens; and let us make ourselves a name, lest we be scattered over the face of the whole earth.

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

І сказали вони: „Тож місто збудуймо собі, та башту, а вершина її аж до неба. І вчинімо для себе ймення, щоб ми не розпоро́шилися по поверхні всієї землі“.

— Давайте построим себе город с башней до небес, чтобы прославить свое имя и не рассеяться по всей земле. -
Давайте, — сказали вони, — збудуємо собі місто й вежу, вершина якої сягатиме неба, і зробимо собі ім’я, перш ніж розсіємося по поверхні всієї землі.
