And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy lace, and thy staff which is in thy hand. And he gave [it] her, and went in to her; and she conceived by him.

And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.

Then he said, “What pledge shall I give you?”
So she said, “Your signet and cord, and your staff that is in your hand.” Then he gave them to her, and went in to her, and she conceived by him. -

“Your seal and its cord, and the staff in your hand,” she answered. So he gave them to her and slept with her, and she became pregnant by him. -

— Какой залог тебе дать?
Она ответила:
— Твою печать на шнурке и посох, который у тебя в руке.
Он дал ей все это и переспал с ней, и она забеременела от него. -
Він же сказав: Яку дати тобі заставу? Вона ж відповіла: Твій перстень, ланцюжок з печаткою і посох, що у твоїй руці. Він дав їй і ввійшов до неї, і та завагітніла від нього.
