And when money came to an end in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph, saying, Give us bread! for why should we die before thee? for [our] money is all gone.

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed.”

И серебро истощилось в земле Египетской и в земле Ханаанской. Все Египтяне пришли к Иосифу и говорили: дай нам хлеба; зачем нам умирать пред тобою, потому что серебро вышло у нас?

Коли гроші були вже витрачені в Єгипетській країні й у Ханаан-краю, тоді прийшли всі єгиптяни до Йосифа та й кажуть: "Дай нам хліба! Чого це ми маємо вмирати перед тобою? Скінчились бо наші гроші."

І як повитрачувано всї гроші в землї Египецькій і в Канаан землї, поприходили тодї всї Египтяне до Йосифа говорючи: Дай нам хлїба! Чому бо вмірати нам перед віччу в тебе? Кінець бо вже нашим грошам. -
І вичерпалося срібло в краї єгипетськім та в Краї ханаанськім. І прибув увесь Єгипет до Йосипа, говорячи: „Дай же нам хліба! Нащо нам умирати перед тобою, тому́ що вичерпалося срібло?“

Когда кончились деньги и в Египте, и в Ханаане, все египтяне пришли к Иосифу и сказали:
— Дай нам хлеба; зачем нам умирать у тебя на глазах? Наши деньги кончились. -
І не стало грошей в Єгипетській землі й у Ханаанській землі. Тож прийшли всі єгиптяни до Йосифа, кажучи: Дай нам хліба! Навіщо нам вмирати перед тобою? Адже в нас закінчилися гроші.

Через некоторое время у народа в Египте и Ханаане больше не осталось денег, ибо они все их истратили на покупку зерна. Тогда Египтяне пришли к Иосифу и сказали: "Просим тебя, дай нам еды. У нас больше нет денег, но если нам нечего будет есть, то мы все умрём у тебя на глазах".
