And Pharaoh said to him, What then dost thou lack with me, that behold, thou desirest to go to thine own country? And he said, Nothing; but in any case let me depart.

Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.

Then Pharaoh said to him, “But what have you lacked with me, that suddenly you seek to go to your own country?”
So he answered, “Nothing, but do let me go anyway.” -

“What have you lacked here that you want to go back to your own country?” Pharaoh asked.
“Nothing,” Hadad replied, “but do let me go!” -

“Why?” Pharaoh asked him. “What do you lack here that makes you want to go home?”
“Nothing,” he replied. “But even so, please let me return home.” -
И сказал ему фараон: разве ты нуждаешься в чём у меня, что хочешь идти в свою землю? Он отвечал: нет, но отпусти меня.

Фараон же йому: «Чого тобі бракує в мене, що хочеш іти в рідний край?» Та цей відказав: «Але ж ні, таки відпусти мене.» І повернувся Гадад у свій край. Ось те лихо, що зробив Гадад: він ненавидів Ізраїля і був царем в Едомі.

Фараон же відказав: Чи ж тобі не достає чого в мене, що бажаєш ійти в рідний край. Сей відказав: Нї, але таки відпустити мене. -
А фараон йому відказав: „Чого тобі браку́є при мені, що ти оце хочеш іти до свого кра́ю?“ Та той сказав: „Ні, таки конче відпусти́ мене!“

— Разве тебе чего-то недостает у меня, что ты так хочешь вернуться в свою страну? — спросил фараон.
— Нет, — ответил Гадад, — но все-таки отпусти меня! -
А фараон запитав Адера: Чого тобі не вистачає в мене, що ось ти бажаєш повернутися на свою землю? Та Адер сказав йому: Відпусти таки [2] мене! І Адер повернувся у свою землю.
