And Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, Choose one bullock for yourselves, and sacrifice it first; for ye are the many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire.

And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.

Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.”

И сказал Илия пророкам Вааловым: выберите себе одного тельца и приготовьте вы прежде, ибо вас много; и призовите имя бога вашего, но огня не подкладывайте.

Тоді Ілля сказав до Ваалових пророків: «Виберіть собі одного бичка й починайте перші, бо вас багато. Взивайте ім'я вашого бога, але вогню не підкладайте.»

Промовив тодї Ілия до пророків Баалових: Вибірайте одного бика та й оправте як слїд, бо вас більше, й взивайте ймя бога вашого, огню ж не підкладайте. -
І сказав Ілля до Ваалових пророків: „Виберіть собі одно́го бичка́, і приготу́йте перші, бо ви численні́ші, і покличте ім'я́ свого́ бога, а огню́ не покладете“.

Илия сказал пророкам Баала:
— Выберите одного из двух быков и приготовьте его первыми, раз вас так много. Призывайте имя своего бога, но не зажигайте огня. -
І тоді Ілля запропонував безсоромним пророкам: Виберіть собі одне теля і зробіть ви спочатку, бо вас багато, закличте в ім’я вашого бога, та не підкладайте вогню.
