Moreover the necromancers and the soothsayers, and the teraphim and the idols, and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, Josiah took away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkijah the priest had found in the house of Jehovah.

Йосія викорінив також викликачів мертвих і знахурів, домовиків, бовванів і всі ті гидоти, що можна було побачити в Юдейській землі й у Єрусалимі, щоб увійшли в силу слова закону, написані в книзі, що найшов у Господньому храмі священик Хілкія.

А також викликачів духів померлих, і духів віщих, і домови́х божків, і бовва́нів, і всякі гидо́ти, що появилися в Юдинім кра́ї та в Єрусалимі, повини́щував Йосія, щоб поставити слова Зако́ну, написані в книзі, що знайшов священик Хілкійя в Господньому домі.

Еще Иосия уничтожил вызывателей умерших, и чародеев, домашних божков, идолов, и все прочие мерзости, которые нашлись в Иудее и в Иерусалиме. Он сделал это, чтобы исполнить требования Закона, написанного в книге, которую священник Хелкия нашел в доме Господа.

І цар Йосія знищив чарівників, чаклунів і терафінів [1] , — ідолів і всі мерзоти, що були в землі Юди та в Єрусалимі, щоб потвердити слова закону, записані в книзі, яку знайшов священик Хелкія в Господньому домі.
