And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha said, Jehovah has shewn me that thou wilt be king over Syria.

And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.

So Hazael said, “But what is your servant — a dog, that he should do this gross thing?”
And Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will become king over Syria.” -

“The Lord has shown me that you will become king of Aram,” answered Elisha. -

— Господь открыл мне, что ты станешь царем Арама, — ответил Елисей.26 -
Та Азаїл сказав: Хто є твій раб, хіба дохла собака, що вчинить таку справу? А Елісей промовив: Господь показав мені тебе, як ти царюєш над Сирією.
