Truly with a small company of men came the army of the Syrians, but Jehovah delivered a very great army into their hand, because they had forsaken Jehovah the God of their fathers; and they executed judgment upon Joash.

For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and the LORD delivered a very great host into their hand, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.

Indeed the army of the Arameans came with a small number of men; yet the LORD delivered a very great army into their hands, because they had forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers. Thus they executed judgment on Joash. -
Although the Arameans attacked with only a small army, the LORD helped them conquer the much larger army of Judah. The people of Judah had abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, so judgment was carried out against Joash.

Хоч з мало́ю кількістю людей прийшло сирійське військо, проте Господь дав в їхню руку дуже велику силу, бо ті покинули Господа, Бога батьків своїх. А над Йоашем вони виконали присуд.

Хотя войско Арама было немногочисленным, Господь отдал в их руки гораздо более сильное войско. Так как они оставили Господа, Бога своих отцов, над Иоашем свершился приговор.

Отже, сирійська армія прийшла з малою кількістю мужів, та Бог видав у їхні руки дуже численну армію, бо вони залишили Господа, Бога їхніх батьків. І Він учинив суд над Йоасом.
