And while Ezra prayed, and made confession, weeping and falling down before the house of God, there were gathered to him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children; for the people wept very much.

Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore. -

Пока Ездра молился и открыто признавался в грехах, плача и повергаясь перед Божьим домом, вокруг него собралась большая толпа израильтян: мужчин, женщин и детей. Они тоже горько плакали.

І коли Ездра помолився, і коли зробив визнання, плачучи і молячись перед домом Бога, то до нього зібрався дуже великий натовп з Ізраїля — чоловіки, жінки і діти, бо народ плакав і піднявся, плачучи.
