for they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, and have mingled the holy seed with the peoples of the lands; and the hand of the princes and rulers has been chief in this unfaithfulness.

For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

They have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and their sons, and have mingled the holy race with the peoples around them. And the leaders and officials have led the way in this unfaithfulness.” -

“For they have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy race has intermingled with the peoples of the lands; indeed, the hands of the princes and the rulers have been foremost in this unfaithfulness.” -
For the men of Israel have married women from these people and have taken them as wives for their sons. So the holy race has become polluted by these mixed marriages. Worse yet, the leaders and officials have led the way in this outrage.”

потому что взяли дочерей их за себя и за сыновей своих, и смешалось семя святое с народами иноплеменными, и притом рука знатнейших и главнейших была в сём беззаконии первою.

бо побрали їхніх дочок за себе й за своїх синів і змішали святе сім'я з народами країв, і в цьому злочині рука старшин і правителів була перша.»

Они брали их дочерей в жены для себя и своих сыновей, и святой народ смешался с иноплеменными народами. А вожди и чиновники первыми подавали пример этого предательства.
