and let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the young virgins of beautiful countenance to Shushan the fortress, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hegai the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given.

Let the king appoint commissioners in every province of his realm to bring all these beautiful young women into the harem at the citadel of Susa. Let them be placed under the care of Hegai, the king’s eunuch, who is in charge of the women; and let beauty treatments be given to them. -

Let the king appoint agents in each province to bring these beautiful young women into the royal harem at the fortress of Susa. Hegai, the king’s eunuch in charge of the harem, will see that they are all given beauty treatments.

и пусть бы назначил царь наблюдателей во все области своего царства, которые собрали бы всех молодых девиц, красивых видом, в престольный город Сузы, в дом жён под надзор Гегая, царского евнуха, стража жён, и пусть бы выдавали им притиранья;

Нехай би цар настановив урядовців по всіх країнах свого царства, щоб вони зібрали молодих дівчат, гарних з виду, в Сузи-замок, в жіночий палац, під догляд Гегея, царського скопця, сторожа жінок, і нехай їм дадуть що треба для прикраси.

і нехай цар призна́чить уря́дників по всіх окру́гах свого царства, і нехай вони зберуть усіх дівчат, панні́в уродли́вого ви́гляду, до за́мку Сузи, до дому жіно́к під руку Геґа́я, царсько́го є́внуха, сто́рожа жіно́к, і дати їм потрібне для їхнього причепу́рення.

Пусть царь назначит особых людей в каждую из провинций своего царства. И пусть они соберут всех красивых молодых девушек в гарем крепости Сузы, под надзор царского евнуха Гегая, который смотрит за женщинами, и пусть им выдают косметические масла для ухода за телом.

І нехай поставить цар місцевих володарів у всіх країнах його царства, і хай будуть вибрані дівчата, діви, вродливі на вигляд, у місто Сузи, до жіночого дому, і хай будуть дані євнухові, сторожеві жінок царя, і нехай їм дадуть засоби очищення та інше піклування.
