While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, The Chaldeans made three bands, and fell upon the camels and took them, and the servants have they smitten with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped, alone, to tell thee.

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels and took them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

Ещё он говорил, как приходит другой и сказывает: Халдеи расположились тремя отрядами и бросились на верблюдов и взяли их, а отроков поразили остриём меча; и спасся только я один, чтобы возвестить тебе.

Ще говорив цей, аж надходить інший та й каже: «Халдеї, згуртувавши три ватаги, напали на верблюдів та й позаймали їх, а слуг мечем повитинали. І врятувавсь лиш я один, щоб сповістити тобі це.»

Ще сей говорив, аж ійде другий й говорить: Халдеї зложили три ватаги, напали на верблюди та й позаймали їх; кметї ж повистинали мечем; один я втїк, сповістити тебе. -
Він ще говорив, аж біжить ще інший та й каже: „Халде́ї поділи́лися на три відділи, і напали на верблю́дів, та й позабира́ли їх, а слуг повбива́ли ві́стрям меча. І втік тільки я сам, щоб доне́сти тобі“.

Он еще говорил, когда пришел третий вестник и сказал:
— Халдеи собрались в три отряда, набросились на стадо твоих верблюдов и угнали их. Они предали всех слуг мечу, и я — единственный, кто спасся, чтобы рассказать тебе об этом! -
Ще як цей говорив, прийшов інший посланець і сказав Йовові: Кіннотники зробили проти нас три загони і оточили верблюдів, полонили їх, а рабів убили мечами! Я ж сам-один врятувався і прийшов тобі сповістити!
