Bildad: Man Cannot Be Righteous
And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
І відказав Билдад Савхеаський та й промовив:
Dominion and fear are with him; he maketh peace in his high places.
У його (Бога) й владицтво й снага; він творить мир на висотах своїх.
Is there any number of his troops? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
Хто б його військо злїчив? і над ким він не сияє?
And how should man be just with God? Or how should he be clean that is born of a woman?
І як же чоловікові бути праведним перед Богом, як може бути чистим, хто від жінки родився?
Lo, even the moon is not bright; and the stars are not pure in his sight:
Ось, навіть місяць, і він не досить ясний, і зорі не чисті перед очима в його!
