Tell of His Wonderful Works!
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.

Алілу́я! Дякуйте Господу, добрий бо Він, бо наві́ки Його милосе́рдя!
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; meditate upon all his wondrous works.
Хто розка́же про ве́лич Господню, розповість усю славу Його́?
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
Блаженні, хто де́ржиться права, хто чинить правду кожного ча́су!
Seek Jehovah and his strength, seek his face continually;
Згадай мене, Господи, в ласці Своїй до народу Свого́, відві́дай мене спасі́нням Своїм,
Remember his wondrous works which he hath done, his miracles and the judgments of his mouth:
щоб побачити добре вибра́нців Твоїх, щоб я ті́шився радощами Твого наро́ду, і хвалився зо спа́дком Твоїм!
Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
Ми згрішили з батька́ми своїми, скриви́ли, неправди́ве чинили.
He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
Не зважа́ли на чу́да Твої батьки наші в Єгипті, многоти́ Твоїх ласк не прига́дували й бунтува́лись над морем, над морем Черво́ним.
He is ever mindful of his covenant, -- the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, --
Та Він ради Ймення Свого їх спас, щоб виявити Свою силу.
Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
Він кли́кнув на море Червоне — і ви́сохло, і Він їх повів через мо́рські глиби́ни, немов по пустині!
And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
І Він спас їх з руки неприя́теля, визволив їх з руки ворога,—
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
і закрила вода супроти́вників їхніх, жоден з них не зоста́вся!
When they were a few men in number, of small account, and strangers in it.
Тоді то в слова́ Його вві́рували, виспі́вували Йому славу.
And they went from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
Та скоро забули вони Його чин, не чекали пора́ди Його́,
He suffered no man to oppress them, and reproved kings for their sakes,
і пала́ли в пустині жада́нням, і Бога в пустині ізнов випробо́вували,
[Saying,] Touch not mine anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.
і Він їхнє жада́ння їм дав, але худість послав в їхню душу.
And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.
Та Мойсею поза́здрили в та́борі, й Ааронові, святому Господньому.
He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.
Розкрилась земля — і Дата́на погли́нула, Авіро́нові збори накрила,
They afflicted his feet with fetters; his soul came into irons;
і огонь запалав на їхніх збо́рах, — і по́лум'я те попали́ло безбожних.
Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.
Зробили тельця́ на Хори́ві, і били поклони бовва́нові ви́литому, —
The king sent and loosed him -- the ruler of peoples -- and let him go free.
і змінили вони свою славу на образ вола́, що траву пожирає,
He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions:
забули про Бога, свого Спасителя, що велике в Єгипті вчинив,
To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
у землі Ха́мовій чу́да, страшні ре́чі над морем Червоним.
And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
І сказав Він пони́щити їх, коли б не Мойсей, вибра́нець Його, що став був у ви́ломі перед обличчям Його — відверну́ти Його гнів, щоб не шкодив!
And he made his people exceeding fruitful, and made them mightier than their oppressors.
Погордили землею жада́ною, не повірили сло́ву Його,
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
і ре́мствували по наме́тах своїх, неслухня́ні були́ до Господнього голосу.
He sent Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen:
І Він підійняв Свою ру́ку на них, щоб їх повали́ти в пустині,
They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.
і щоб повалити їхнє пото́мство посеред наро́дів, та щоб розпоро́шити їх по країнах!
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
І служили Ваа́лові пео́рському, й їли вони жертви мертвих,
He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.
і діла́ми своїми розгні́вали Бога, — тому вдерлась зара́за між них!
Their land swarmed with frogs, -- in the chambers of their kings.
І встав тоді Пі́нхас та й розсуди́в, — і зара́за затри́малась,
He spoke, and there came dog-flies, [and] gnats in all their borders.
і йому порахо́вано в праведність це, з роду в рід аж навіки.
He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land;
І розгні́вали Бога вони над водою Мері́ви, і через них стало зле для Мойсея,
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees of their borders.
бо духа його засмути́ли, і він говорив нерозва́жно уста́ми своїми.
He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;
Вони не позни́щували тих наро́дів, що Господь говорив їм про них, —
And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
і поміша́лись з пога́нами, та їхніх учинків навчи́лись.
And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.
І бо́жищам їхнім служили, а ті па́сткою стали для них.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble among their tribes.
І прино́сили в жертву синів своїх, а дочо́к своїх — де́монам,
Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
— і кров чисту лили́, кров синів своїх і дочо́к своїх, що їх у жертву прино́сили бо́жищам ханаа́нським. І через кривавий пере́ступ земля поскверни́лась,
He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
і стали нечисті вони через учи́нки свої, і пере́люб чинили діла́ми своїми.
They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
І проти наро́ду Свого запалав гнів Господній, і спа́док Його Йому став оги́дним,
He opened the rock, and waters gushed forth; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
і віддав їх у руку наро́дів, — і їхні нена́висники панували над ними,
For he remembered his holy word, [and] Abraham his servant;
і їхні вороги їх гноби́ли, і вони впокори́лися під їхню руку.
And he brought forth his people with gladness, his chosen with rejoicing;
Багато разі́в Він визво́лював їх, але вони вперті були́ своїм за́думом, — і пригно́блено їх через їхню прови́ну!
And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:
Та поба́чив Він їхню тісно́ту, коли почув їхні блага́ння,
