Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the oppressor,
Господи, душа моя готова петь хвалу Тебе.
And gathered out of the countries, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
Пробудитесь арфа с лирой, разбудить зарю пора.
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way, they found no city of habitation;
Будем петь хвалу Тебе, Господь, среди всех народов,
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them:
потому что велика и выше неба, Господи, любовь Твоя, и небес достигла Твоя верность.
Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses,
Да будешь вознесён, Господи, выше неба, пусть над всей землёю будет слава Твоя.
And he led them forth by a right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
Помоги Твоей рукою правой, дай спасенье любящим Тебя.
Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
Бог сказал: "Я выиграю эту битву и буду счастлив победой. Я разделю эту землю между народами. Я дам Сихем, отдам долину Сокхов им.
For he hath satisfied the longing soul and filled the hungry soul with good.

Such as inhabit darkness and the shadow of death, bound in affliction and iron,
Моав служить Мне будет для омовенья ног Моих, на Эдом простру сапог мой, над Филистимией торжественно воскликну".
Because they had rebelled against the words of God, and had despised the counsel of the Most High; ...
Кто проведёт меня в крепость врага? И на Эдом кто поведёт?
And he bowed down their heart with labour; they stumbled, and there was none to help:
Не Ты ли, Господи, который нас покинул, и наше войско больше не ведёшь?
Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses;
Дай помощь нам в победе над врагом, ибо помощь человека здесь бесссильна.
