Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида. Боже хвалы моей! не премолчи,
Awake, lute and harp: I will wake the dawn.
ибо отверзлись на меня уста нечестивые и уста коварные; говорят со мною языком лживым;
I will give thee thanks among the peoples, O Jehovah; of thee will I sing psalms among the nations:
отвсюду окружают меня словами ненависти, вооружаются против меня без причины;
For thy loving-kindness is great above the heavens, and thy truth is unto the clouds.
за любовь мою они враждуют на меня, а я молюсь;
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, and thy glory above all the earth.
воздают мне за добро злом, за любовь мою — ненавистью.
That thy beloved ones may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
Поставь над ним нечестивого, и диавол да станет одесную его.
God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Когда будет судиться, да выйдет виновным, и молитва его да будет в грех;
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;
да будут дни его кратки, и достоинство его да возьмёт другой;
Moab is my wash-pot; upon Edom will I cast my sandal; over Philistia will I shout aloud.
дети его да будут сиротами, и жена его — вдовою;
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?
да скитаются дети его и нищенствуют, и просят хлеба из развалин своих;
[Wilt] not [thou], O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?
да захватит заимодавец всё, что есть у него, и чужие да расхитят труд его;
Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.
да не будет сострадающего ему, да не будет милующего сирот его;
