Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is Good

Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Блаженні ті, які бездоганні в дорозі, котрі йдуть за Господнім законом.

Oh let Israel say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Блаженні ті, які зберігають Його свідчення, — усім серцем вони шукатимуть Його.

Oh let the house of Aaron say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Адже вони не чинять беззаконня, — вони пішли Його дорогами.

Oh let them that fear Jehovah say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Ти заповів ретельно дотримуватися Твоїх заповідей.

I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me [and set me] in a large place.

О, якби мої шляхи були спрямовані на те, щоби дотримуватися Твоїх настанов,

Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do unto me?

тоді мені не соромно буде дивитися на всі заповіді Твої.

7

Jehovah is for me among them that help me; and I shall see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

Буду прославляти Тебе, Господи, чистим серцем, коли навчуся Твоїх справедливих присудів.

It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;

Я буду дотримуватися Твоїх настанов — лише зовсім не покинь мене!

It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.

Як молодому зберегти чистим свій шлях? — Лише дотриманням Твоїх слів!

All nations encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.

Усім своїм серцем шукав я Тебе: не дай ухилитися від Твоїх заповідей.

They encompassed me, yea, encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.

Я заховав Твої слова у своєму серці, щоб не згрішити мені проти Тебе.

12

They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.

Благословенний Ти, Господи, навчи мене Твоїх настанов.

Thou hast thrust hard at me that I might fall; but Jehovah helped me.

Своїми устами я звіщав усі присуди Твоїх уст.

14

My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation.

Дорогою Твоїх свідчень я зрадів, наче всім багатством.

15

The voice of triumph and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly;

Я вникатиму у Твої заповіді й досліджуватиму Твої дороги.

16

The right hand of Jehovah is exalted, the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.

16

Я буду повчатися Твоїми настановами, не забуду Твоїх слів.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Jah.

Пошли нагороду Своєму рабові. Я ж буду жити й дотримуватися Твоїх слів.

18

Jah hath chastened me sore; but he hath not given me over unto death.

18

Відкрий мої очі, аби я побачив Твої дивовижні речі, які у Твоєму законі.

19

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them; Jah will I praise.

19

Я — чужинець на землі; не заховай від мене Своїх заповідей.

20

This is the gate of Jehovah: the righteous shall enter therein.

20

Охоплена нетерпінням моя душа, весь час бажаючи Твоїх присудів.

21

I will give thee thanks, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.

21

Ти докорив гордим, — прокляті ті, хто ухиляється від Твоїх заповідей.

[The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:

Зніми з мене ганьбу і зневагу, адже я прагнув Твоїх свідчень.

23

This is of Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes.

23

Хоч вельможі засіли й наговорювали на мене, та Твій раб досліджує Твої настанови.

24

This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

24

Адже Твої свідчення — повчання для мене, а Твої настанови — радники мої.

Oh save, Jehovah, I beseech thee; Jehovah, I beseech thee, oh send prosperity!

Моя душа прилипла до землі: оживи мене згідно зі Своїм словом!

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah. We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.

Я розповів про свої шляхи, і Ти мене вислухав. Навчи мене Своїх постанов.

27

Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, -- up to the horns of the altar.

27

Дай мені зрозуміти дорогу Твоїх постанов, — я буду вникати у Твої дивовижні діла.

28

Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks; my God, I will exalt thee.

28

Поникла від виснаження моя душа: зміцни мене Своїми словами!

29

Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

29

Відверни від мене шлях неправди, — помилуй мене за законом Твоїм. [1]
