Псалом Давида. Господи, закликав я до Тебе, почуй мене! Зверни увагу на голос мого благання, коли я кличу до Тебе.
Who devise mischiefs in [their] heart; every day are they banded together for war.
Нехай підійметься до Тебе молитва моя, як пахощі кадила, а мої піднесені руки — це вечірня жертва.
They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
Господи, постав сторожу біля моїх уст і брами укріплення навколо моїх губ.
Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked [man], preserve me from the violent man, who devise to overthrow my steps.
Не приверни моє серце до лукавих слів, щоб я не знаходив оправдання для гріхів з людьми, які чинять беззаконня, аби я не приєднався до їхніх обранців.
The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the way-side; they have set traps for me. Selah.
Мене покарає праведний у своєму милосерді й докорить мені, але олія грішного хай не намастить моєї голови, бо й моя молитва їм до вподоби.
I have said unto Jehovah, Thou art my God: give ear, O Jehovah, to the voice of my supplications.
Біля скелі були потоплені їхні судді. Почують мої слова, бо вони сповнені сили.
Jehovah, the Lord, is the strength of my salvation: thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
Як грудки землі розсипаються на землі, так розсипалися наші кості при аді.
Grant not, O Jehovah, the desire of the wicked; further not his device: they would exalt themselves. Selah.
Та до Тебе, Господи, Владико, очі мої! На Тебе покладаю надію, не забери моєї душі.
[As for] the head of those that encompass me, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
Захисти мене від пастки, яку на мене поставили, від сильця тих, які чинять беззаконня!
