Darby Bible Translation

New King James Version

  • Sing to the Lord a New Song!

    Hallelujah! Sing unto Jehovah a new song; [sing] his praise in the congregation of the godly.
  • Praise to God for His Salvation and Judgment

    Praise[a] the Lord!
    Sing to the Lord a new song,
    And His praise in the assembly of saints.
  • Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.
  • Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
    Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
  • Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp.
  • Let them praise His name with the dance;
    Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
  • For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation.
  • For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
    He will beautify the [b]humble with salvation.
  • Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.
  • Let the saints be joyful in glory;
    Let them sing aloud on their beds.
  • Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand:
  • Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
    And a two-edged sword in their hand,
  • To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples;
  • To execute vengeance on the nations,
    And punishments on the peoples;
  • To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
  • To bind their kings with chains,
    And their nobles with fetters of iron;
  • To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!
  • To execute on them the written judgment —
    This honor have all His saints.
    [c]Praise the Lord!
