Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
Боже мій, Боже мій, — на́що мене Ти покинув? Далекі слова́ мого зо́йку від спасі́ння мого!
For thou hast met him with the blessings of goodness; thou hast set a crown of pure gold on his head.
Мій Боже, взиваю я вдень, — та Ти не озве́шся, і кли́чу вночі, — і споко́ю немає мені!
He asked life of thee; thou gavest [it] him, length of days for ever and ever.
Та Ти — Святий, пробува́єш на хва́лах Ізраїлевих!
His glory is great through thy salvation; majesty and splendour hast thou laid upon him.
На Тебе наді́ялись наші батьки́, надіялися — і Ти ви́зволив їх.
For thou hast made him to be blessings for ever; thou hast filled him with joy by thy countenance.
До Тебе взива́ли вони — і спасе́ні були́, на Тебе наді́ялися — і не посоро́мились.
For the king confideth in Jehovah: and through the loving-kindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.
А я — червяк, а не чоловік, посміхо́вище лю́дське й погорда в наро́ді.
Thy hand shall find out all thine enemies; thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Всі, хто бачить мене, — насміхаються з мене, розкривають роти́, головою хита́ють!
Thou shalt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thy presence; Jehovah shall swallow them up in his anger, and the fire shall devour them:
„Поклада́вся на Господа він, — хай же рятує його́, нехай Той його ви́зволить, — він бо Його уподо́бав!“
Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
Бо з утро́би Ти вивів мене, Ти безпе́чним мене учинив був на пе́рсах матері моєї!
For they intended evil against thee; they imagined a mischievous device, which they could not execute.
На Тебе з утро́би я зда́ний, від утроби матері моєї — Ти мій Бог!
For thou wilt make them turn their back; thou wilt make ready thy bowstring against their face.
Не віддаля́йся від мене, бо горе близьке́, бо нема мені помічника́!
