Псалом Давида. Господи, до Тебе підношу я мою душу, Мій Боже,
For it was he that founded it upon seas, and established it upon floods.
на Тебе я надіюся. Хай не буду засоромлений і хай не поглузують з мене мої вороги.
Who shall ascend into the mount of Jehovah? and who shall stand in his holy place?
Адже всі ті, хто з нетерпінням очікує Тебе, не будуть засоромлені. Нехай будуть посоромлені ті, які без причини чинять беззаконня.
He that hath blameless hands and a pure heart; who lifteth not up his soul unto vanity, nor sweareth deceitfully:
Господи, відкрий мені дороги Свої — навчи мене ходити Твоїми стежками.
He shall receive blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Провадь мене згідно зі Своєю правдою і навчай мене, бо Ти — Бог, Спаситель мій, і я Тебе з нетерпінням очікую весь день.
This is the generation of them that seek unto him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Господи, згадай Своє милосердя і Свою милість, бо вони одвічні.
Lift up your heads, ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.
Не згадай гріхів моєї молодості й мого незнання, а за Своїм милосердям і через Свою доброту згадай мене, о Господи.
Who is this King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle.
Господь — добрий і праведний, тому видасть закон для тих, які грішать у дорозі.
Lift up your heads, ye gates; yea, lift up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.
Він поведе лагідних у суді й навчить сумирних Своїх шляхів.
