Attend unto me, and answer me: I wander about in my plaint, and I moan aloud,
Помилуй мене, Господи, бо по мені пройшлася людина, весь день гнітила мене, ворогувала зі мною.
Because of the voice of the enemy; because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in anger they persecute me.
Мої вороги весь день нападали на мене з погордою, адже безліч тих, які нападають на мене від світанку.
My heart is writhing within me, and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
Вдень [не] буду боятися, бо на Тебе покладаю надію.
Fear and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
Перед Богом увесь день віддаватиму хвалу своїми словами. На Бога покладаю надію. Не матиму страху, бо що заподіє мені людина?
And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away, and be at rest;
Весь день відчували огиду до моїх слів, усі їхні задуми — на зло мені.
Behold, I would flee afar off, I would lodge in the wilderness; Selah;
Будуть жити поряд і таїти; вони вистежуватимуть мою п’яту, оскільки з нетерпінням чекають на мою душу.
I would hasten my escape from the stormy wind, from the tempest.
У жодному разі Ти не врятуєш їх, у гніві, Боже, зведеш в могилу народи.
Swallow [them] up, Lord; divide their tongue: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
Я відкрив перед Тобою своє життя, Ти поклав сльози мої перед Собою, — як і є у Твоїй обітниці.
Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof; and iniquity and mischief are in the midst of it.
Того дня, коли я закличу до Тебе, мої вороги втечуть геть. Ось пізнав я, що Ти — мій Бог.
Perversities are in the midst thereof; and oppression and deceit depart not from its streets.
Перед Богом віддаватиму хвалу Слову, у Господі віддаватиму хвалу Слову.
For it is not an enemy that hath reproached me -- then could I have borne it; neither is it he that hateth me that hath magnified [himself] against me -- then would I have hidden myself from him;
На Бога я покладаю надію, тож не буду боятися! Що заподіє мені людина?
But it was thou, a man mine equal, mine intimate, my familiar friend. ...
На мені, о Боже, обітниці прославляти Тебе, які я виконаю.
