Deliver Me From My Enemies, My God

{To the chief Musician. 'Destroy not.' Of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him.} Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God; secure me on high from them that rise up against me.

Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from men of blood.

Визволь мене від ворогів моїх, мій Боже! Оборони мене від тих, що повстають на мене.

3

For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; strong ones are gathered against me: not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.

Визволь мене від тих, що чинять беззаконня, і спаси мене від душогубів.

4

They run and prepare themselves without [my] fault: awake to meet me, and behold.

Вони бо на життя моє чигають, змовляються на мене сильні. Нема ні гріха в мені, о Господи, ані провини;

5

Yea, do thou, Jehovah, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, arise to visit all the nations: be not gracious to any plotters of iniquity. Selah.

без усякої вини моєї збігаються, готуються на мене, устань мені назустріч і подивися!

They return in the evening; they howl like a dog, and go round about the city:

Та ти, Господи сил, Бог Ізраїля! Встань на кару всіх народів, не пощади ні одного з віроломних.

7

Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips: for who [say they] doth hear?

Увечорі повертаються назад, немов пси виють, і бігають навкруги містом.

8

But thou, Jehovah, wilt laugh at them; thou wilt have all the nations in derision.

Ось вони розпустили уста свої, мечі в губах їхніх: «Хто там почує?»

9

Their strength! ... I will take heed to thee; for God is my high fortress.

9

Але ти, Господи, з них смієшся, висміюєш усіх поган.

10

God, whose loving-kindness will come to meet me, -- God shall let me see [my desire] upon mine enemies.

10

Сило моя! Тебе я пильнуватиму, бо ти моя безпека, Боже.

11

Slay them not, lest my people forget; by thy power make them wander, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.

Мій Бог, — моє милосердя! Хай Бог прийде мені назустріч, хай дасть мені натішитись над ворогами моїми.

12

[Because of] the sin of their mouth, the word of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; and because of cursing and lying which they speak.

Побий їх, Боже, щоб не ввели у гріх народ мій. Присилуй блукати їх, у твоїй силі провали їх, Господи, щите наш.

13

Make an end in wrath, make an end, that they may be no more; that they may know that God ruleth in Jacob, unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

Що слово з уст їхніх — то гріх губ їхніх; нехай спіймаються гординею своєю, прокляттям і брехнею, що розповідають.

14

And in the evening they shall return, they shall howl like a dog, and go round about the city.

Погуби в обуренні, погуби, щоб більше не було їх щоб знали, що Бог Яковом править аж по землі край.

They shall wander about for meat, and stay all night if they be not satisfied.

But as for me, I will sing of thy strength; yea, I will sing aloud of thy loving-kindness in the morning; for thou hast been to me a high fortress, and a refuge in the day of my trouble.

Бродять шукаючи, що їсти, і коли не наситяться, то виють.

17

Unto thee, my strength, will I sing psalms; for God is my high fortress, the God of my mercy.

17

А я співатиму про твою силу, і веселитимусь уранці твоїм милосердям; бо ти став захистом для мене, прибіжищем у скрутну для мене днину.
