    Praise is due to you,a O God, in Zion,
    and to you shall vows be performed.

  • O you who hear prayer,
    to you shall all flesh come.
  • Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.
  • When iniquities prevail against me,
    you atone for our transgressions.
  • Blessed is he whom thou choosest and causest to approach: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, of thy holy temple.
  • Blessed is the one you choose and bring near,
    to dwell in your courts!
    We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house,
    the holiness of your temple!
  • By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, thou confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the distant regions of the sea. ...
  • By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness,
    O God of our salvation,
    the hope of all the ends of the earth
    and of the farthest seas;
  • Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power;
  • the one who by his strength established the mountains,
    being girded with might;
  • Who stilleth the raging of the seas, the raging of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples.
  • who stills the roaring of the seas,
    the roaring of their waves,
    the tumult of the peoples,
  • And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens; thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
  • so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs.
    You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.
  • Thou hast visited the earth, thou hast watered it; thou greatly enrichest it: the river of God is full of water; thou providest their corn, when thou hast so prepared it:
  • You visit the earth and water it;b
    you greatly enrich it;
    the river of God is full of water;
    you provide their grain,
    for so you have prepared it.
  • Thou dost satiate its furrows, thou smoothest its clods, thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof.
  • You water its furrows abundantly,
    settling its ridges,
    softening it with showers,
    and blessing its growth.
  • Thou crownest the year with thy goodness, and thy paths drop fatness:
  • You crown the year with your bounty;
    your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.
  • They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills are girded with gladness.
  • The pastures of the wilderness overflow,
    the hills gird themselves with joy,
  • The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, yea, they sing.
  • the meadows clothe themselves with flocks,
    the valleys deck themselves with grain,
    they shout and sing together for joy.
