In thee, Jehovah, do I trust: let me never be ashamed.
In thee, Jehovah, do I trust: let me never be ashamed.
На тебе, Господи, вповаю, нехай не повстидаюсь по віки.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me; incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
По справедливостї твоїй вислобони мене і спаси мене! Прихили до мене ухо твоє і спаси мене!
Be to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Будь менї скеля на домівку, де б менї мож було завсїди ходити! Ти звелїв спасти мене, ти бо єси моя скеля і моя твердиня.
My God, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
Боже мій, спаси мене з рук беззаконника, з рук неправедника і гнобителя!
For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah, my confidence from my youth.
Ти бо єси моя надїя, Господи Боже! Моє впованнє від молодого віку мого.
On thee have I been stayed from the womb; from the bowels of my mother thou didst draw me forth: my praise shall be continually of thee.
Почавши від лона матернього, я на тебе покладався; від внутра матернього ти стережеш мене; тебе в піснях моїх все прославляю.
I have been as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
Многим людям чудовищем я здавався; але ти сильна моя защита.
My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, with thy glory, all the day.
Уста мої повні хвали твоєї, слави твоєї цїлий день.
Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
Не відкинь мене у старостї; коли знеможу силою, не опусти мене!
For mine enemies speak against me, and they that watch for my soul consult together,
Мої бо вороги змовляються на мене, і ті, що чигають на мене, нараджуються.
Saying, God hath forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver.
І вони кажуть: Бог опустив його; гонїть за ним, і зловіть його, нема бо йому спасителя.
O God, be not far from me; my God, hasten to my help.
Боже, будь не далеко від мене, поспіши менї на поміч!
Let them be ashamed, let them be consumed, that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
Нехай осоромляться, нехай щезнуть ті, що проти душі моєї встали! Нехай покриє сором і безчестє тих, що нещастя для мене бажають!
But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.
Я ж буду все на тебе вповати, і хвалу твою ширити.
My mouth shall declare thy righteousness, [and] thy salvation all the day: for I know not the numbers [thereof].
Уста мої будуть звіщати справедливість твою, цїлий день твоє спасеннє; я бо не знаю їм лїку.
I will go in the might of the Lord Jehovah; I will recall thy righteousness, thine alone.
Буду ступати силою Господа Бога, буду згадувати твою справедливість, твою тілько.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I proclaimed thy marvellous works:
Боже! Ти вчив мене з малку; і досї я проповідував чудеса твої.
Now also, when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not, until I have proclaimed thine arm unto [this] generation, thy might to every one that is to come.
І до старостї, до пізної старостї, не опусти мене, Боже, поки не возвіщу рамя твоє будущому роду; всїм, що прийдуть, потугу твою!
And thy righteousness, O God, reacheth on high, thou who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee?
І твоя справедливість, Боже, надто велика, ти Боже, що вчинив єси дїла великі, хто рівня тобі?
Thou, who hast shewn us many and sore troubles, wilt revive us again, and wilt bring us up again from the depths of the earth;
Ти, що дав нам зазнати богацько біди і лиха, ти знов даєш нам життє, і добуваєш нас із пропастей землї.
Thou wilt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
Побільши потугу мою, обернись і потїши мене.
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, my God; unto thee will I sing psalms with the harp, thou holy One of Israel.
І я буду на псалтирі прославляти тебе, правду твою, мій Боже! Буду псальмувати при гуслях тобі, Сьвятий Ізраїля!
My lips shall exult when I sing psalms unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
Радуються уста мої, сьпіваючи псальми тобі, і душа моя, котру ти збавив єси;
