For behold, thine enemies make a tumult; and they that hate thee lift up the head.
Які любі Твої оселі, Господи сил!
They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consult against thy hidden ones:
Моя душа знемагає і лине до Господніх дворів, моє серце і моє тіло зраділи Живим Богом.
They say, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, and let the name of Israel be mentioned no more.
Адже й горобець знайшов собі хатку, і горлиця — собі гніздо, де виведе своїх пташенят, — Твої жертовники, Господи сил, мій царю і мій Боже!
For they have consulted together with one heart: they have made an alliance together against thee.
Блаженні ті, які живуть у Твоєму домі: вони навіки-віків складатимуть хвалу Тобі.

The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarites;

Адже один день у Твоїх дворах кращий за тисячі. Я вибрав бути покинутим у Божому домі, ніж жити в поселеннях грішників.
For they have said, Let us take to ourselves God's dwelling-places in possession.
Адже Господь Бог любить милосердя і правду, Він посилатиме милість і славу. Господь не позбавить благополуччя тих, які ходять бездоганно.
