My son, despise not the instruction of Jehovah, neither be weary of his chastisement;

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction; -

and do not resent his rebuke, -

і не ухиляйся, коли він карає. -
