Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

Слушайте, что Я скажу! Царь должен избрать путь правды, и правители должны править по справедливости.
And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
Тогда бы царь был укрытием от ветров и дождей, он стал бы потоком воды для сухой земли, прохладной тенью в знойном краю.
And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken;
Люди обращались бы к царю за помощью и воистину слушали бы его слова.
and the heart of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
Растерявшиеся обрели бы способность понимать, и косноязычные заговорили бы ясно и быстро.
The vile man shall be no more called noble, nor the churl said to be bountiful:
Глупцов не называли бы великими людьми, не почитали бы коварных.
for the vile man will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Глупец говорит глупость и носит в сердце зло: он хочет творить беззаконие, хулить Господа, не давать голодному хлеба и жаждущему питья.
The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
Зло — его орудие, он замышляет всё отнять у бедных, он лжёт о бедняках, и ложь его мешает судить справедливо.
But the noble deviseth noble things; and to noble things doth he stand.
Но добрый правитель стремится делать добро, и это приносит ему уважение.
The Women of Jerusalem
Rise up, ye women that are at ease, hear my voice; ye careless daughters, give ear unto my speech.

Женщины беззаботны, они чувствуют себя в безопасности. Встаньте и послушайте, что Я скажу!
In a year and [some] days shall ye be troubled, ye careless women; for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.
Через год вас постигнет несчастье, потому что не будет урожая винограда, нечего будет вам собирать.
Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] on your loins!
Вы сейчас спокойны, женщины, но вам следует быть в страхе! Вы чувствуете себя в безопасности, но вам следует беспокоиться! Снимите ваши красивые платья и наденьте одежды печали.
They shall smite on the breasts [in lamentation] for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vineyards.
Набросьте эти одежды печали на ваши исполненные скорби груди. Плачьте, ибо пусты ваши поля, ваши виноградники больше не дают винограда.
Upon the land of my people shall come up thistles [and] briars, yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
Плачьте о земле Моего народа, ибо лишь сорняки и тернии будут расти на ней. Плачьте о городе и обо всех домах, прежде полных радости.
For the palace shall be deserted, the multitude of the city shall be forsaken; hill and watchtower shall be caves for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
Люди оставят столицу, опустеют дворцы и башни, никто не будет жить в домах, все будут жить в пещерах. Дикие ослы, звери и овцы будут щипать в городе траву.
until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
Так будет до тех пор, пока Господь не пошлёт нам свыше Свой дух. И Кармел будет словно лес зелёный, и добро будет жить на его земле.
And judgment shall inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness dwell in the fruitful field.
Теперь на земле нет добра, она, как пустыня, но в будущем пустыня станет землёй Кармела, и правосудие будет пребывать на ней.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.
Это добро принесёт спасение и мир навеки.
And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
Народ Мой будет жить в полях мира, в шатрах безопасности, в покое и в мире.
And it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
