Darby Bible Translation
And Rab-shakeh said, Is it to thy master and to thee that my master sent me to speak these words? Is it not to the men that sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own urine with you?
-
But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

But the Rabshakeh said, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, who will eat and drink their own waste with you?”

But the commander replied, “Was it only to your master and you that my master sent me to say these things, and not to the people sitting on the wall — who, like you, will have to eat their own excrement and drink their own urine?” -

But Sennacherib’s chief of staff replied, “Do you think my master sent this message only to you and your master? He wants all the people to hear it, for when we put this city under siege, they will suffer along with you. They will be so hungry and thirsty that they will eat their own dung and drink their own urine.”

И сказал Рабсак: разве только к господину твоему и к тебе послал меня господин мой сказать слова сии? Нет, также и к людям, которые сидят на стене, чтобы есть помёт свой и пить мочу свою с вами.

Равшак же відказав: «Хіба мій володар послав мене до твого владики та до тебе, щоб ці слова сказати? Невже ж він не послав мене до людей, що сидять на мурі, щоб укупі з вами їли власний послід і власну сечу з вами пили?»

Рабсак же відказав: Хиба ж мій пан послав мене тільки до твого пана й до тебе, щоб сї слова сказати? Нї, також і до тих людей, що седять на мурі, щоб вкупі з вами ковтати власне кало своє й мочу свою пити? -
І сказав великий ча́шник: „Чи пан мій послав мене говорити: ці слова до твого пана та до тебе? Хіба не до цих людей, що сидять на мурі, щоб із вами їсти свій кал та пити свою се́чу?“

Но главный виночерпий ответил:
— Разве мой господин послал меня сказать это только вашему господину и вам, а не людям, находящимся на стене, которые, как и вы сами, будут есть свой кал и пить свою мочу? -
І сказав їм Рапсак: Хіба до вашого володаря чи до вас послав мене мій володар сказати ці слова? Хіба не до людей, які перебувають на мурі, щоб їли кал і пили сечу разом з вами?
