And if thou say to me, We rely upon Jehovah our God: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?

But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?

“But if you say to me, ‘We trust in the Lord our God,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and said to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar’?” ’

“But perhaps you will say to me, ‘We are trusting in the LORD our God!’ But isn’t he the one who was insulted by Hezekiah? Didn’t Hezekiah tear down his shrines and altars and make everyone in Judah and Jerusalem worship only at the altar here in Jerusalem?

А если скажешь мне: «на Господа, Бога нашего, мы уповаем», то на того ли, которого высоты и жертвенники отменил Езекия и сказал Иуде и Иерусалиму: «пред сим только жертвенником поклоняйтесь»?

Коли ж ти мені скажеш: Ми покладаємось на Господа, Бога нашого, — то чи ж це не той самий, що йому Єзекія позносив узвишшя й жертовники, повелівши Юді та Єрусалимові: Перед оцим жертовником, мовляв, маєте поклонятися!

Коли ж відкажете менї: Ми на Господа, Бога нашого, вповаємо, то чи ж се не той самий, що його висоти та жертівники позносив Езекія, повелївши Юдї й Ерусалимові: Перед сим тілько жертівником ви маєте поклонятись. -
А коли ти скажеш мені: Ми наді́ємось на Господа, Бога нашого, то чи ж Він не той, що Єзекія повсо́вував па́гірки його та же́ртівники його, і сказав Юді та Єрусалимові: перед оцим тільки же́ртівником будете вклонятися?

А если ты скажешь мне: «Мы надеемся на Господа, нашего Бога», то не Его ли святилища на возвышенностях и жертвенники убрал Езекия,178 сказав Иудее и Иерусалиму: «Поклоняйтесь только перед этим жертвенником»?“
