Да возвысит голос пустыня и города её, селения, где обитает Кидар; да торжествуют живущие на скалах, да возглашают с вершин гор.

Пусть пустыня и ее города возвысят свои голоса,
пусть ликуют селения, где обитает Кедар.209
Пусть обитатели Селы210 поют от радости;
пусть кричат они с горных вершин. -
Зрадій, пустеля та її поселення, двори і ті, хто живе в Кидарі! Хай зрадіють ті, хто живе в Петрі, нехай закричать з вершин гір.
