Salvation for Zion

Hearken unto me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek Jehovah: look unto the rock [whence] ye were hewn, and to the hole of the pit [whence] ye were digged.

Многие из вас стремятся жить достойно, вы обращаетесь за помощью к Богу.

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bore you; for I called him when he was alone, and blessed him, and multiplied him.

Послушайте Меня, вы должны вспомнить Авраама, отца вашего, он скала, от которой отколоты вы. Авраам — ваш отец, и вы должны смотреть на него и на Сарру, которая вас родила. Авраам был один, когда Я его призвал и благословил, и когда он положил начало великой семье — многие пошли от него.

For Jehovah shall comfort Zion, he shall comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah: gladness and joy shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of song.

Точно так Господь благословит и Сион, Господь пожалеет его людей и превратит пустыню его в сад, подобный саду Едема, пустая земля превратится в Господний сад. Люди будут счастливы и в радости своей будут петь песни ликования и победы.

Listen unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will establish my judgment for a light of the peoples.

Народ Мой, послушайте Меня! Мои решения будут светом, который укажет людям, как жить правильно.

5

My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the peoples: the isles shall wait for me, and in mine arm shall they trust.

Скоро явлю Я Мою справедливость, скоро Я вас спасу. Силой Моей Я буду судить все народы, все страны далёкие на силу Мою надеются, которая им поможет.

6

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner; but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Взгляните на небеса, оглянитесь на землю внизу — исчезнут небеса, словно дым, и станет земля ненужной, дряхлой одеждой, но вечным пребудет спасение Моё, и не истощится Моя доброта.

7

Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of men, and be not afraid of their revilings.

Вы, следующие поучениям Моим и знающие Мою доброту, должны слушать, что Я говорю. Злых людей не страшитесь, не бойтесь их слов недобрых.

8

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool; but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

Они станут дряхлой одеждой, поедаемой молью, деревом, источённым червём. Но Моя доброта пребудет вечно, Моё спасение — на веки вечные.

9

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah; awake, as in the days of old, [as in] the generations of passed ages. Is it not thou that hath hewn Rahab in pieces, [and] pierced the monster?

Проснись, проснись! Облачись в свою силу, рука Господняя! Восстань, как в давние времена, как при жизни древних поколений. Разве не ты разрубила на части Раава, разве не ты пронзила дракона?

10

Is it not thou that dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; that made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?

Разве не ты осушила море, проложив искупленным путь, чтобы они пересекли его?

11

So the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come to Zion with singing; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Господь спасёт всех Своих людей. Они на Сион возвратятся с великой радостью, счастье им будет вечной короной на головах. Они будут петь радостно, и вся их печаль уйдёт.

12

I, [even] I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou fearest a man that shall die, and the son of man that shall become as grass;

Господь говорит: "Я — Единственный, Кто утешает вас. Зачем вы людей боитесь? Они всего лишь люди, они умирают, подобно траве".

13

and forgettest Jehovah thy Maker, who hath stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and thou art afraid continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepareth to destroy? And where is the fury of the oppressor?

Господь сотворил вас тою же силой, что землю, тою же силой, которой распростёр над землёй небеса. Но вы забываете силу Господнюю и страшитесь тех, кто вас притесняет. Они уничтожить хотели вас. Но где они ныне? Их нет.

14

He that is bowed down shall speedily be loosed, and he shall not die in the pit, nor shall his bread fail.

Скоро освобождён будет узник, он не сгниёт в темнице, он будет свободен и больше не будет нуждаться в хлебе.

15

And I am Jehovah thy God, who raiseth the sea, so that its waves roar: Jehovah of hosts is his name.

15

Я, Господь, Я — ваш Бог, Я поднимаю волны на море. (Господь Всемогущий — Имя Его).

16

And I have put my words in thy mouth, and covered thee with the shadow of my hand, to plant the heavens, and to lay the foundations of the earth, and to say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

"Слуга Мой, Я вложу тебе в уста слова и защищу тебя. Я воспользуюсь тобою, чтобы устроить новые небеса, насадить новую землю и сказать Сиону: "Ты Мой народ".

17

The Cup of Wrath

Arouse thyself, arouse thyself, stand up, Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of Jehovah the cup of his fury. Thou hast drunk, hast drained out the goblet-cup of bewilderment:

Проснись, Иерусалим, проснись! Господь был на тебя во гневе и наказал тебя. Ты испил чашу Господней ярости, выпил её до дна. Ты выпил ту полную чашу яда!

18

-- there is none to guide her among all the children that she hath brought forth; neither is there any to take her by the hand of all the children that she hath brought up.

Много людей было в Иерусалиме, но никто из них не смог его вести. Ни один из его детей его не возглавил.

19

These two [things] are come unto thee; who will bemoan thee? -- desolation and destruction, and famine and sword: how shall I comfort thee?

19

Две беды пришли к Иерусалиму рука об руку — воровство и опустошение, великий голод и войны. Никто тебе не помог во дни страданий, никто не был к тебе добр.

20

Thy children have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as an oryx in a net: they are full of the fury of Jehovah, the rebuke of thy God.

Люди твои ослабели, они падали наземь и лежали на углах всех улиц, они были словно в сетях. И гнев Господний карал их до тех пор, пока они уже не могли принимать наказания.

21

Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:

21

Слушай Меня, несчастный Иерусалим: ты слаб, как пьяный. И пьян ты не от вина, а от чаши Господнего гнева.

22

thus saith thy Lord, Jehovah, and thy God, who pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I take out of thy hand the cup of bewilderment, the goblet-cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

Твой Бог Всемогущий будет бороться за Своих людей, Он говорит тебе: "Я забираю чашу гнева Моего, ты наказания больше не изведаешь.

23

and I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; who have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street to them that went over.

Я гнев Свой направлю на тех, кто нанёс тебе вред, кто пытался тебя убить и говорил: "Поклонись нам, чтобы мы прошли по тебе!" Они заставили тебя пасть и прошли по спине твоей, как по дороге, и ты был грязью у них под ногами".
