Invitation to the Needy

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price!

"Все жаждущие, придите и пейте, не беспокойтесь, если денег нет, придите, ешьте, пейте без денег, пока не насытитесь, ешьте и пейте, еда и вино ничего не стоят.

2

Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Зачем вам выбрасывать деньги на то, что есть подобие еды, зачем тратить силы на то, что не радует? Слушайте Меня и будете иметь и еду, и труд, которые радуют душу.

Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David.

Внимательно слушайте и оживут ваши души, придите, и Я заключу с вами вечный завет, как Мой завет с Давидом, которому Я обещал быть верным и вечно любить его. В этот завет можно верить.

Behold, I have given him [for] a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.

Я сделал Давида свидетелем могущества Моего, Я обещал Давиду, что он возглавит народы мира".

Behold, thou shalt call a nation thou knowest not, and a nation [that] knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

Есть люди в местах незнакомых вам, но вы их позовёте. Эти народы не знают вас, но к вам они поспешат. Так будет, поскольку этого хочет Господь, ваш Бог, поскольку Святой Израиля оказывает вам честь.

Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

Поэтому Бога ищите, пока не слишком поздно, взывайте к Нему, пока Он вблизи.

7

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Пусть нечестивые люди оставят злые пути свои и помыслы, пусть к Господу снова придут — и Господь помилует и успокоит их.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.

Господь говорит: "Ваши мысли — не Мои мысли, и ваши пути не Мои пути.

9

For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

И как небо выше земли, так и Мой путь выше ваших путей, и Мои мысли выше ваших мыслей". Так сказал Сам Господь.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

"И как падают с неба дождь и снег и не возвращаются, пока землю не увлажнят и не дадут растениям цвести, и размножаться, и приносить зерно для пропитания,

so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall accomplish that for which I send it.

так и слова, что изошли из уст Господних, не возвратятся, покуда не исполнят то, что им назначено. Они исполнят то, что Мне угодно! Исполнят то, за чем Я их послал!

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Мои слова, выйдя с радостью, мир принесут, горы и холмы затанцуют, все деревья всплеснут ладонями своих листьев.

13

Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress, and instead of the nettle shall come up the myrtle; and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off.

И кипарисы вырастут там, где рос терновник, миртовые деревья вырастут там, где росли сорняки. Всё это будет во славу Господа, и докажут они, что Господь Всемогущ. И доказательства эти будут несокрушимы".
