The Year of the Lord's Favor

The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah hath anointed me to announce glad tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound;

to proclaim the acceptable year of Jehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Господь послал меня, чтоб объявил я о времени, когда Господь Свою покажет милость. Господь послал меня, чтоб объявил я о времени, когда наш Бог накажет злых людей, Господь послал меня, чтоб я утешил всех печальных.

to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, that beauty should be given unto them instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness: that they might be called terebinths of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.

К печальному народу Сиона послал меня Бог, чтобы к празднику их подготовить, чтобы вместо пепла дать им корону, чтобы печаль их развеять и вернуть им елей счастья, и праздничными одеждами заменить их долгую скорбь. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the places desolate from generation to generation.

And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your ploughmen and your vinedressers.

But as for you, ye shall be called priests of Jehovah; it shall be said of you: Ministers of our God. Ye shall eat the wealth of the nations, and into their glory shall ye enter.

А вы будете называться "священниками Господа", "слугами нашего Бога", и у вас будет богатство всех народов земли, которым вы будете гордиться.

Instead of your shame [ye shall have] double; instead of confusion they shall celebrate with joy their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto them.

Раньше вас позорили и оскорбляли больше, чем другие народы, и поэтому на вашей земле вы получите вдвое больше, нежели другие, — вы получите вечное счастье.

For I, Jehovah, love judgment, I hate robbery with wrong; and I will give their recompence in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Потому что Я, Господь, люблю справедливость и презираю воровство и насилие, и Я воздам людям по заслугам. Я заключил с Моим народом вечный завет.

And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are a seed that Jehovah hath blessed.

Мой народ будут знать все народы, все будут знать детей Моего народа, и любой, кто их видит, будет знать, что на них — благословение Господа".

I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with the priestly turban, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

"Господь меня сделал счастливым, и счастливо в Боге моё существо. Господь мне даёт одежды спасения, они несравненны с одеждами жениха. В ризы правды Господь облекает меня, они несравненны даже с одеждой невесты.

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as a garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Земля растит растения свои, люди сажают сады и растят их. Так и Господь растит доброту и славу среди народов".
