king Zedekiah sent and took him out. And the king asked of him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is; and he said, Thou shalt be given into the hand of the king of Babylon.

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

And Jeremiah said, “There is.” Then he said, “You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon!” -

Then King Zedekiah sent for him and had him brought to the palace, where he asked him privately, “Is there any word from the Lord?”
“Yes,” Jeremiah replied, “you will be delivered into the hands of the king of Babylon.” -

Later King Zedekiah secretly requested that Jeremiah come to the palace, where the king asked him, “Do you have any messages from the LORD?”
“Yes, I do!” said Jeremiah. “You will be defeated by the king of Babylon.” -
царь Седекия послал и взял его. И спрашивал его царь в доме своём тайно и сказал: нет ли слова от Господа? Иеремия сказал: есть; и сказал: ты будешь предан в руки царя Вавилонского.

Утім цар Седекія послав його взяти звідти. І потай від усіх спитав його цар у своїм палаці: «Чи нема якогось слова від Господа?» Єремія ж відказав: «Є, — і додав: Ти потрапиш у руки вавилонському цареві.»

Царь же Седекія послав узяти його звідти. І спитав його царь у своїх палатах потай усїх, і промовив: Чи нема якого слова од Господа? Еремія відказав: Є, і додав: Подасть він тебе на поталу цареві Вавилонському. -
І послав цар Седекія, і взяв його. І спитав його цар у своїм домі таємно й сказав: „Чи є слово від Господа?“ І Єремія відказав: „Є“. І далі сказав: „Ти будеш ві́дданий в руку вавилонського царя́“.

Потом царь Цедекия послал за ним, его привели, и царь тайно расспрашивал его у себя во дворце:
— Есть ли какое слово от Господа?
— Есть, — ответил Иеремия. — Ты будешь отдан в руки царя Вавилона. -
Бо наведу твоє оздоровлення, оздоровлю тебе від болючих ран, — говорить Господь, — бо ти прозваний розсіяним. Здобич є вашою, бо немає того, хто її шукає.

Вскоре царь Седекия послал за Иеремией, и его привели к царю. Иеремия говорил с ним наедине. Царь спросил Иеремию, были ли ему вести от Господа. Иеремия ответил: "Да, есть весть от Господа. Ты, Седекия, будешь отдан в руки царя Вавилона".
