Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The children of Israel and the children of Judah were together oppressed; and all that took them captives held them fast: they refused to let them go.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.

Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“The children of Israel were oppressed,
Along with the children of Judah;
All who took them captive have held them fast;
They have refused to let them go. -

This is what the Lord Almighty says:
“The people of Israel are oppressed,
and the people of Judah as well.
All their captors hold them fast,
refusing to let them go. -

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go. -

This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says:
“The people of Israel and Judah have been wronged.
Their captors hold them and refuse to let them go. -
Так говорит Господь Саваоф: угнетены сыновья Израиля, как и сыновья Иуды, и все, пленившие их, крепко держат их и не хотят отпустить их.

Так говорить Господь сил: «Пригнічено синів Ізраїля та синів Юди. Усі ті, що позаймали їх у полон, тримають їх і затялись їх не випустити.

— Народ Израиля угнетен,
как и народ Иудеи.
Все взявшие их в плен крепко держат их,
отказываясь отпустить. -
