Are they ashamed that they have committed abomination? Nay, they are not at all ashamed, and they know not how to blush. Therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall stumble, saith Jehovah.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination?
No! They were not at all ashamed,
Nor did they know how to blush.
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
In the time of their punishment
They shall be cast down,” says the Lord. -

Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct?
No, they have no shame at all;
they do not even know how to blush.
So they will fall among the fallen;
they will be brought down when they are punished,
says the Lord. -

They certainly were not ashamed,

Are they ashamed of these disgusting actions?
Not at all — they don’t even know how to blush!
Therefore, they will lie among the slaughtered.
They will be brought down when I punish them,
says the LORD. -
Стыдятся ли они, делая мерзости? нет, они нисколько не стыдятся и не краснеют. За то падут они между падшими; во время посещения их будут повержены, говорит Господь.

Стидались би отакі гидоти коїти! Але вони й сорому ніякого не мають; не тямлять навіть, що то значить червоніти. Тому й попадають між тими, що впадуть; під час відвідин їхніх вони спотикнуться, — слово Господнє.

Хиба вони соромляться, витворяючи гидоти? Нї, вони нї трохи не стидаються й не червонїють. За те попадають вони між тими, що поляжуть; як надійде час їх карання, поваляться, говорить Господь. -
Чи вони засоро́милися, що гидо́ту робили? Ні тро́хи вони не засоро́милися, і застида́тись не вміють, — тому́ то впаду́ть між упа́лими в ча́сі наві́щення їх, спіткну́ться, говорить Госпо́дь.

Не стыдно ли им за их мерзости?
Нет, им ни капли не стыдно;
краснеть они не умеют.
За это падут они среди павших,
будут повержены, когда Я накажу их, —
говорит Господь. — -
