Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Are ye come to inquire of me? [As] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.

Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you.

— Сын человеческий, говори со старейшинами Израиля и скажи им: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Вы пришли вопрошать Меня? Верно, как и то, что Я живу, Я не позволю вам вопрошать Меня», — возвещает Владыка Господь.

Людський сину, заговори до старійшин дому Ізраїля і скажеш їм: Так говорить Господь: Чи ви приходите Мене запитати? Живу Я, хіба Я вам відповім, — говорить Господь.
