Prophecy against the King of Tyre

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

Пришло ко мне слово Господа. И Господь сказал:

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the heart of the seas, (and thou art a man, and not God,) and thou settest thy heart as the heart of God:

"Сын человеческий, скажи правителю Тира, что Господь Всемогущий говорит так: "Ты слишком горд и говоришь: "Я — Бог, на троне божьем восседаю я, в середине морей". Но ты не бог, ты человек, ты сам себя считаешь богом.

behold, thou art wiser than Daniel! nothing secret is obscure for thee;

3

Ты думаешь, что ты мудрее, чем Даниил, что можешь все узнать секреты.

4

by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures;

4

Своею мудростью и разумом своим добыл ты для себя богатства и золотом и серебром набил свои сокровищницы.

5

by thy great wisdom thou hast by thy traffic increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy riches.

Уменьем торговать и мудростью своей умножил ты своё богатство, но слишком возгордился этим ты.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,

Поэтому Господь сказал: Тир, ты себя поставил с Богом наравне.

7

therefore behold, I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall tarnish thy brightness.

Я иноземцев приведу против тебя, самых жестоких изо всех народов. Они оборотят мечи свои против всего, чего ты мудростью добился. Они всю твою славу сокрушат.

8

They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of those that are slain in the heart of the seas.

8

Они сведут тебя в могилу, ты будешь, как моряк, погибший в море.

9

Wilt thou then say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and not God, in the hand of him that pierceth thee.

9

И скажешь ли ты своему убийце "Я — бог"? Не скажешь никогда. Ты будешь перед силою его обычным человеком, а не богом.

10

Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord Jehovah.

10

Как умирают необрезанные, ты умрёшь от чужеземцев. Это случится, ибо Я так повелел". Так говорил Господь.

11

A Lament over the King of Tyre

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

Слово Господа пришло ко мне. Господь сказал:

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou, who sealest up the measure of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty,

"Сын человеческий, пой эту печальную песню о царе Тира и скажи ему: "Вот что говорит Господь Всемогущий: Ты идеальным был, ты мудрым был и совершенным в красоте.

13

thou wast in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was thy covering: the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the carbuncle, and the emerald, and gold. The workmanship of thy tambours and of thy pipes was in thee: in the day that thou wast created were they prepared.

Ты был в Эдеме, в саду Господнем. Ты был покрыт различными камнями драгоценными. Рубины и топазы, бриллианты, ониксы, берилы, сапфиры, яшма, изумруд и бирюза, оправленные золотом и гравировкой. Бог тебя сделал сильным, красота была дана тебе с твоего сотворения дня.

Thou wast the anointed covering cherub, and I had set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou didst walk up and down in the midst of stones of fire.

Ты был одним из избранных херувимов. Твои крылья распростёрты над троном Моим, и на Святую гору Я тебя поставил, ты ходил среди камней, огнём сверкавших.

15

Thou wast perfect in thy ways, from the day that thou wast created, till unrighteousness was found in thee.

15

Ты был добр и честен, когда тебя Я создал, но затем ты злобным стал.

16

By the abundance of thy traffic they filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned; therefore have I cast thee as profane from the mountain of God, and have destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Твои дела богатство принесли, но и они же принесли жестокость, и согрешил ты. Сбросил Я тебя с горы Господней, словно нечисть. Изгнал тебя, Мой херувим, чьи крылья были распростёрты над троном Моим. Я изгнал тебя из среды драгоценных, огнём сверкающих камней.

Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I have cast thee to the ground, I have laid thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

От красоты своей ты возгордился. От славы своей ты мудрость свою загубил. За это Я тебя на землю бросил, и на тебя глядят все царства.

18

By the multitude of thine iniquities, by the unrighteousness of thy traffic, thou hast profaned thy sanctuaries: and I have brought forth a fire out of the midst of thee -- it hath consumed thee; and I have brought thee to ashes upon the earth, in the sight of all them that behold thee.

Ты часто был в делах своих нечестен, и стали все твои места святые нечистыми. Огонь Я из тебя извлёк, и он тебя спалил. Ты превратился в пепел, и теперь все могут видеть твой позор.

19

All they that know thee among the peoples shall be amazed at thee: thou art become a terror, and thou shalt never be any more.

Поражены случившимся с тобой народы, знавшие тебя. Для них ты — ужас, и тебя навеки нет".

20

A Prophecy against Sidon

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

Слово Господа пришло ко мне. Господь сказал:

21

Son of man, set thy face towards Zidon, and prophesy against it,

21

"Сын человеческий, посмотри в сторону Сидона и скажи от имени Моего.

22

and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Zidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be hallowed in her.

Скажи, что Господь Всемогущий так говорит: "Сидон, Я против тебя. Люди твои научатся Меня почитать — накажу Сидон, и узнают люди, что Я — Господь, что Я — святой, и будут ко Мне относиться с почтением.

23

And I will send into her the pestilence, and blood in her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, by the sword upon her on every side: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

Болезнь и смерть Я на Сидон пошлю. Убиты будут люди в городе, мечом врагов, окружающих их. И люди поймут, что Я — Господь".

24

And there shall be no more a wounding sting for the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn, among all that were round about them, that despised them: and they shall know that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.

"Страны вокруг Израиля ненавидели его. Но Я не позволю им больше быть, как кусты терновника, которые приносят боль Израилю. И эти страны будут знать, что Я — Господь Всемогущий".

25

The Restoration of Israel

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be hallowed in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their land which I have given to my servant Jacob.

Так сказал Господь Всемогущий: "Я разбросал людей Израиля среди разных народов, но Я соберу их всех вместе, и все народы узнают, что Я — Святой, и будут Меня почитать. Тогда люди Израиля будут жить на своей земле, которую Я дал рабу Моему Иакову.

26

They shall dwell in it in safety, and shall build houses and plant vineyards; and they shall dwell in safety, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despised them round about them: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah their God.

26

Они будут жить безопасно, построят дома, посадят виноградники. Я накажу все народы, которые их ненавидели, и люди Израиля будут жить безопасно и узнают, что Я — Господь Бог их".
