Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: [As] I live, verily they that are in the waste places shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that are in the strongholds and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

“Say thus to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “As I live, surely those who are in the ruins shall fall by the sword, and the one who is in the open field I will give to the beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the strongholds and caves shall die of the pestilence.

“Say this to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: As surely as I live, those who are left in the ruins will fall by the sword, those out in the country I will give to the wild animals to be devoured, and those in strongholds and caves will die of a plague. -

Так скажеш до них: Так говорить Господь Бог: Як живий Я, — ті, хто в руїнах, попа́дають від меча, а той, хто на широкім полі, того віддам звірині́, щоб поже́рла його, а ті, хто в тверди́нях та в пече́рах, помруть від морови́ці!

Скажи им вот что: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Верно как и то, что Я живу: оставшиеся в развалинах падут от меча; тех, кто находится в открытом поле, Я отдам на съедение диким зверям; а те, кто сидит в укреплениях и в пещерах, погибнут от мора.

Живу Я, що впадуть від меча ті, що в спустошених місцях, і ті, що на поверхні рівнини, будуть дані диким звірам у їжу, і тих, що в обмурованих, і тих, що в печерах, Я безсумнівно вб’ю [4].
