Judgment against Idolatry

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

1

И затем слово Господне снова пришло ко мне.

2

Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

Он сказал: "Сын человека, повернись в сторону гор Израиля и говори против них за Меня.

3

and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, [even] I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places.

Скажим им так: "Горы Израиля, слушайте весть от Господа Всемогущего, который говорит горам и холмам, ущельям и долинам: Послушайте, Я (Бог) приведу врагов против вас и разрушу ваши высокие места.

4

And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols;

Алтари будут разбиты на куски, твои благовонные алтари, и Я брошу твои мёртвые тела перед грязными идолами твоими.

5

and I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

Я положу мёртвые тела израильтян перед грязными идолами. Я разбросаю кости твои вокруг твоих алтарей.

In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

Такое случится повсюду, где живут твои люди, их города станут грудой камней, их высоты будут разрушены, чтобы те места поклонения никогда не использовались вновь. Алтари будут уничтожены, и люди никогда более не поклонятся тем грязным богам. И жертвенники для благовоний будут разбиты, всё, что вы сделали, будет полностью сокрушено.

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

Люди твои будут убиты, и после этого ты узнаешь, что Я — Господь".

A Remnant Shall Be Blessed

Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some escaped from the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

Но Я позволю нескольким твоим людям уцелеть, они будут жить в других странах. Я вас рассею по свету.

And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they have been carried captives, when I shall have broken their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed, in all their abominations.

Потом они будут угнаны в плен, их заставят жить в чужих странах. Но люди, которые спаслись, будут помнить Меня среди народов, куда они были взяты в плен. Я сокрушу их дух, они будут себя ненавидеть за всё дурное, что сотворили. В прошлом они от Меня отвернулись и покинули, они следовали грязным идолам и были подобны женщине, покидающей мужа и бегущей за другим мужчиной. Они совершили много дурного.

And they shall know that I [am] Jehovah: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

Но они узнают, что Я — Господь, и если Я говорю, что сделаю что-то, то Я это сделаю. Они узнают, что Я причинил всё то плохое, что с ними случилось".

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the abominations of the iniquities of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Затем Господь всемогущий сказал мне: "Хлопай в ладоши и топай ногами, говори обо всём ужасном, что сделали люди Израиля, предупреди их, что падут они от болезней, голода и войны.

12

He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is left, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my fury upon them.

Кто будет вдали, тот умрёт от болезни, кто будет близко, падёт от меча, кто покинул город, тот умрёт от голода. Только после этого Я остановлюсь во гневе Моём.

13

And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.

И только тогда вы будете знать, что Я — Господь, когда вы увидите их мёртвые тела перед вашими грязными идолами и у алтарей. Тела их будут близко ко всем местам ваших поклонений на каждом холме и на каждой горе, под каждым зелёным деревом и под каждым ветвистым дубом, повсюду, где вы приносили жертвы, которые были сладким ароматом для ваших грязных идолов.

And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness of Diblath, in all their dwellings; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

Я подниму руку Мою над ними и сделаю землю пустыннее пустыни Дивлаф, повсюду, где живут их люди. Тогда они узнают, что Я — Господь".
