Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet will I read the writing to the king, and make known to him the interpretation.

Тогда отвечал Даниил и сказал царю: дары твои пусть останутся у тебя, и почести отдай другому; а написанное я прочитаю царю и значение объясню ему.

Тоді Даниїл у відповідь сказав супроти царя: «Подарунки твої нехай зостануться при тобі, й гостинці твої дай комусь іншому; а написане я цареві прочитаю й значення його об'явлю.

Тодї відповів Даниїл і сказав до царя: Подарунки твої нехай зістануться в тебе й почестї віддай кому иншому; а написане я цареві прочитаю та й, що воно значить, я йому витулкую. -
Тоді Даниїл відповів та й сказав перед царем: „Твої да́ри нехай бу́дуть тобі, а дару́нки свої давай іншим. Це писа́ння я прочитаю цареві, і розповім тобі його ро́зв'язку.

Даниил ответил царю:
— Оставь дары себе и отдай награды кому-нибудь другому. Я и так прочитаю царю надпись и объясню ему ее смысл. -
Тоді відповів Даниїл і сказав у присутності царя: Твої дари нехай будуть для тебе, і дай іншому дар твого дому. Я ж прочитаю цареві напис і викладу тобі його пояснення.
