Rejoice not, Israel, exultingly, as the peoples; for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved harlot's hire upon every corn-floor.

Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor. -

Do not rejoice, O Israel, with joy like other peoples,
For you have played the harlot against your God.
You have made love for hire on every threshing floor. -

worshiping other gods on every threshing floor. -
Не радуйся, Израиль, до восторга, как другие народы, ибо ты блудодействуешь, удалившись от Бога твоего: любишь блудодейные дары на всех гумнах.

не ликуй, как другие народы,
потому что ты не был верен своему Богу,
ты любишь заработок блудниц
на каждом гумне.36 -
Не радій, Ізраїлю, і не веселися так, як народи. Тому що ти вчинив розпусту проти твого Бога, ти полюбив дари на всіх токах пшениці.
