And Aaron said to Moses, Behold, to-day have they presented their sin-offering and their burnt-offering before Jehovah; and such things have befallen me; and had I to-day eaten the sin-offering, would it have been good in the sight of Jehovah?

And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

And Aaron said to Moses, “Look, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, and such things have befallen me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been accepted in the sight of the Lord?”

Aaron replied to Moses, “Today they sacrificed their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, but such things as this have happened to me. Would the Lord have been pleased if I had eaten the sin offering today?” -

Then Aaron answered Moses, “Today my sons presented both their sin offering and their burnt offering to the LORD. And yet this tragedy has happened to me. If I had eaten the people’s sin offering on such a tragic day as this, would the LORD have been pleased?”

І сказав Арон до Мойсея: Дивись, приносили вони сьогоднї жертву свою за гріх та всепаленнє своє перед Господом, і таке лучилось менї! А коли б я сьогоднї їв жертву за гріх, чи гаразд воно було би в очах Господа? -
І промовляв Ааро́н до Мойсея: „От сьогодні прине́сли вони свою жертву за гріх і цілопа́лення своє перед Господнє лице, — і трапилося мені оце. А буду я їсти жертву за гріх сьогодні, — чи буде це добре в Господніх оча́х?“

Аарон ответил Моисею:
— Сегодня они принесли жертву за грех и всесожжение Господу, и все же со мной случилось такое! Неужели Господу было бы угодно, если бы я сегодня съел приношение за грех? -
Тоді Аарон промовив до Мойсея, кажучи: Якщо вони сьогодні принесли свої [жертви] за гріх і свої всепалення перед Господом, і мені трапились ці речі, — то якщо я споживу [жертви] за гріх сьогодні, чи буде це приємне для Господа?
