Sins Requiring a Sin Offering
And if any one sin, and hear the voice of adjuration, and he is a witness whether he hath seen or known [it], if he do not give information, then he shall bear his iniquity.

А коли хто згрішить: почує голос прокляття, і був свідком, або бачив, або знав, але не виявив, то понесе свою провину;
Or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcase of an unclean beast, or the carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of an unclean crawling thing, and it be hid from him, -- he also is unclean and guilty;
або особа, що доторкнеться якої нечистої речі, або па́дла звірини нечистої, або падла худоби нечистої, або падла нечистого плазуючого, і буде це незна́не їй, то вона — нечиста й завини́ть;
or if he touch the uncleanness of man, any uncleanness of him by which he is defiled, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth [it], then he is guilty.
або коли доторкнеться нечистости люди́ни, всякої нечистости її, що нею стане нечиста, і буде це незна́не їй, а вона довідається, то завини́ть;
Or if any one swear, talking rashly with the lips, to do evil or to do good, in everything that a man shall say rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth [it], then is he guilty in one of these.
або коли хто присягне́, вимовляючи нерозважно устами своїми, чинити зло або чинити добро, на все, що нерозважно вимовляє люди́на в прися́зі, і буде це незна́не йому́, а він довідається, що завини́в одним із цих, —
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these, that he shall confess wherein he hath sinned;
то станеться, що завинить одним із цих, і ви́знає, чим він згрішив у тому.
and he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the small cattle, a sheep or doe goat, for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin.
І приведе він Господе́ві жертву за провину, за гріх свій, що згрішив, самицю з дрібної худоби, — вівцю́ або козу́ — на жертву за гріх, а священик очистить його від гріха́ його.
And if his hand be not able to bring what is so much as a sheep, then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath sinned two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, to Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering.
А якщо рука його не спроможна на ягня, то принесе в жертву за провину свою, що згрішив він, дві го́рлиці або двоє голубенят Господе́ві, — одне на жертву за гріх, а одне на цілопа́лення.
And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall present that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off his head at the neck, but shall not divide it;
І принесе їх до священика, а він перше принесе те, що на жертву за гріх, і натне великим нігтем голову його від шиї її, але не відділить.
and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the wall of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin-offering.
І покро́пить із крови жертви за гріх на стіну́ жертівника, а позостала кров буде вилита до підстави жертівника, — це жертва за гріх.
And he shall offer the other for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance. And the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
А другого зробить цілопа́ленням за уставом. І очистить його священик від гріха́ його, що згрішив той, — і буде про́щено йому.
But if his hand cannot attain to two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering: he shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put frankincense thereon; for it is a sin-offering.
А якщо він не спроможний на дві горлиці або на двоє голубенят, то принесе в жертву свою за те, чим згрішив, десяту частину ефи пшеничної муки на жертву за гріх, не докладе до неї оливи й не дасть на неї ладану, — бо вона жертва за гріх.
And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, with Jehovah's offerings by fire: it is a sin-offering.
І принесе її до священика, а священик ві́зьме з неї повну свою жменю, за пригадувальну частину її, та й спалить на жертівнику на огняні жертви Господе́ві, — вона жертва за гріх.
And the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and it shall be the priest's, as the oblation.
І очистить його священик від гріха його, що згрішив він одним із них, і буде йому про́щений; і буде вона для священика, як жертва хлібна“.
Laws for Guilt Offerings
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:
If any one act unfaithfully and sin through inadvertence in the holy things of Jehovah, then he shall bring his trespass-offering to Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation by shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass-offering.
„Коли хто пере́ступом спроневіриться, і невмисне згрішить проти Господніх святощів, то він приведе жертву за провину свою до Господа, — безвадного барана́ з дрібної худоби, за твоєю оцінкою срібла шеклів, на міру шеклем святині на жертву за провину.
And he shall make restitution for the wrong that he hath done in the holy things, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and shall give it unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
А те, що згрішив проти святощів, пове́рне, і додасть до нього п'яту частину його священикові, а священик очистить його барано́м жертви за гріх, — і буде про́щено йому.
And if any one sin and do against any of all the commandments of Jehovah what should not be done, and hath not known [it], yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
А якщо згрішить коли хто, і зробить що проти якої зо всіх Господніх за́повідей, чого не можна робити, і не знатиме, і завинить, і понесе свій гріх,
And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation, as trespass-offering, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his inadvertence wherein he sinned inadvertently, and knew [it] not, and it shall be forgiven him.
то він приведе до священика безвадного барана з дрібної худоби в оцінці твоїй на жертву за провину. І очистить його священик за по́милку його, що нею помилився, бо він не знав, — і буде про́щена йому.
