And he said to them, What discourses are these which pass between you as ye walk, and are downcast?

And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

They stood still, their faces downcast. -

They stopped short, sadness written across their faces. -

І спитався Він їх: „Що́ за речі такі, що про них між собою в дорозі міркуєте, і чого ви сумні́?“

Иисус спросил их:
— О чем это вы говорите между собой по дороге?
Они остановились с печальными лицами. -
Тож Він запитав їх: Що це за справа, над якою міркуєте між собою, ідучи? І чого ви сумні?
