Jesus the Good Shepherd

Verily, verily, I say to you, He that enters not in by the door to the fold of the sheep, but mounts up elsewhere, *he* is a thief and a robber;

Иисус сказал: "Истинно говорю вам: кто не зайдёт в овечий загон через калитку, а заберётся туда любым другим путём, тот грабитель, пытающийся украсть овец.

but he that enters in by the door is [the] shepherd of the sheep.

Кто же заходит через ворота, тот пастух своего стада.

To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.

Сторож открывает ему ворота, и овцы послушны его голосу. Он называет своих овец по именам и выводит их из загона.

4

When he has put forth all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.

4

Выведя овец, он шагает впереди, а они следуют за ним, ибо знают его голос.

But they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they know not the voice of strangers.

5

Но они никогда не пойдут вслед за тем, кого не знают, скорее убегут от него, ибо голос его им не знаком".

This allegory spoke Jesus to them, but they did not know what it was [of] which he spoke to them.

Jesus therefore said again to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

И сказал тогда Иисус снова: "Истинно говорю вам: Я и есть те ворота для овец.

All whoever came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them.

8

Все, кто приходил до Меня, — воры и грабители, и овцы не слушались их.

9

I am the door: if any one enter in by me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and shall find pasture.

9

Я — эти ворота: кто войдёт через Меня, спасён будет. Он войдёт и выйдет, и найдёт всё, что ищет.

10

The thief comes not but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I am come that they might have life, and might have [it] abundantly.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep:

but he who serves for wages, and who is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf seizes them and scatters the sheep.

А наёмный работник не пастух, и овцы не принадлежат ему, и потому, завидев волка, он бросает их и убегает прочь. Волк нападает на овец, и они разбегаются в разные стороны.

13

Now he who serves for wages flees because he serves for wages, and is not himself concerned about the sheep.

Наёмный работник убегает прочь, потому что его наняли, и ему всё равно, что будет с овцами.

14

I am the good shepherd; and I know those that are mine, and am known of those that are mine,

Я добрый пастух, знаю Своих овец, и Мои овцы знают Меня

15

as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

15

так же, как Отец знает Меня, и Я знаю Отца. И Я отдам Свою жизнь за овец.

16

And I have other sheep which are not of this fold: those also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

16

Я знаю других овец, которые не принадлежат к этому стаду. Я должен привести их в стадо, и они тоже будут слушаться Моего голоса, и станут единым стадом с одним пастухом.

17

On this account the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again.

17

Потому Отец и возлюбил Меня, ибо Я отдам жизнь, чтобы вновь обрести её.

18

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment of my Father.

Никто не отнимает её у Меня, но Я сам отдаю её по собственной воле, имею власть отдать Свою жизнь и имею власть взять её обратно. Вот что приказал Мне Отец Мой".

There was a division again among the Jews on account of these words;

19

От этих слов опять начались споры между иудеями.

20

but many of them said, He has a demon and raves; why do ye hear him?

20

Многие из них говорили: "Он одержим бесом и не в Своём уме. Что вы Его слушаете?"

21

Others said, These sayings are not [those] of one that is possessed by a demon. Can a demon open blind people's eyes?

21

Другие говорили: "Такие слова не могут исходить от одержимого. И уж, конечно, бес не может даровать зрение слепым".

The Unbelief of the Jews

Now the feast of the dedication was celebrating at Jerusalem, and it was winter.

Тем временем в Иерусалиме наступил праздник Обновления. Была зима.

And Jesus walked in the temple in the porch of Solomon.

23

Иисус был во дворе храма у Соломонова притвора.

The Jews therefore surrounded him, and said to him, Until when dost thou hold our soul in suspense? If thou art the Christ, say [so] to us openly.

24

Вокруг Него собрались иудеи и стали Ему говорить: "Как долго ещё нам недоумевать, кто Ты такой? Если Ты Христос, то скажи нам прямо".

25

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye do not believe. The works which I do in my Father's name, these bear witness concerning me:

Иисус ответил им: "Я уже сказал вам, а вы не поверили. Деяния, которые Я совершаю во имя Отца Моего, сами говорят за Меня,

26

but ye do not believe, for ye are not of my sheep, as I told you.

26

но вы не верите, ибо не принадлежите к Моей пастве.

27

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;

27

Моя паства прислушивается к Моему голосу. Я знаю их, и они следуют за Мной.

28

and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand.

28

Я дарую им вечную жизнь, и они никогда не умрут, и никто не уведёт их из-под Моей руки.

29

My Father who has given [them] to me is greater than all, and no one can seize out of the hand of my Father.

29

То, что даровал Мне Отец Мой, важнее всего остального, и никто не может увести их из-под руки Отца Моего.

30

I and the Father are one.

30

Отец Мой и Я — одно".

The Jews therefore again took stones that they might stone him.

31

И снова иудеи стали подбирать камни, чтобы побить Его.

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewn you of my Father; for which work of them do ye stone me?

32

Иисус же сказал им: "Я совершил для вас много добрых деяний волей Отца Моего. За какие же из них вы собираетесь побить Меня камнями?" Иудеи ответили Ему:

33

The Jews answered him, For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy, and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

33

"Не за добрые дела мы собираемся побить Тебя, а за то, что Ты, простой смертный, богохульствуешь, пытаясь выдать Себя за Бога".

34

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

34

Иисус сказал: "Разве не записано в вашем законе: "Я сказал, что вы боги?"

35

If he called *them* gods to whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken),

35

Если о тех, кого достигло слово Божье, сказано, что они боги, — а Писание нельзя оспаривать, —

36

do ye say of him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am Son of God?

36

то неужели вы теперь станете говорить Тому, Кого Отец избрал и послал в этот мир: "Ты богохульствуешь", только потому, что Я сказал о Себе: Я Сын Божий?

37

If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not;

37

Если Я не делаю того, что делает Мой Отец, то не верьте Мне.

38

but if I do, even if ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may know [and believe] that the Father is in me and I in him.

38

Если же Я делаю то, что делает Мой Отец, то даже если вы не верите Мне, поверьте делам Моим, и тогда вы, может быть, поймёте, что Отец Мой во Мне, а Я в Отце Моём".

They sought therefore again to take him; and he went away from out of their hand

39

Тогда иудеи ещё раз попытались схватить Его, но Он ускользнул из их рук.

Many across the Jordan Believe

and departed again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptising at the first: and he abode there.

40

Иисус снова отправился на другой берег Иордана, туда, где раньше Иоанн крестил народ, и оставался там некоторое время.

41

And many came to him, and said, John did no sign; but all things which John said of this [man] were true.

41

Многие приходили к Нему и стали говорить: "Иоанн не явил никакого чуда, но всё, что он сказал об Этом Человеке, правда!"

And many believed on him there.

42

И многие из бывших там уверовали в Иисуса.
