Prayer for the Son

These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee;

Сказав это, Иисус обратил взор к небу и сказал: "Отец, пришло время: даруй славу Сыну Своему, чтобы Твой Сын восславил Тебя,

as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal.

как раньше Ты дал Ему власть над всем мирским, чтобы дал Он вечную жизнь всем тем, кого обратил Ты к Нему.

And this is the eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

Это есть вечная жизнь: чтобы они знали Тебя, единственного Истинного Бога, и Иисуса Христа, посланного Тобою.

I have glorified *thee* on the earth, I have completed the work which thou gavest me that I should do it;

Я принёс Тебе славу на земле и завершил назначенное Тобой.

and now glorify *me*, *thou* Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was.

И теперь Ты даруй Мне славу перед ликом Твоим, Отец, ту славу, что знал Я с Тобой ещё до существования мира.

Prayer for the Disciples

I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world. They were thine, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word.

Я открыл Тебя тем людям, которых Ты дал Мне от мира. Они были Твои, но Ты отдал их Мне, и они сохранили Слово Твоё.

7

Now they have known that all things that thou hast given me are of thee;

7

Теперь же они знают, что всё, дарованное Тобою Мне, исходит от Тебя.

8

for the words which thou hast given me I have given them, and they have received [them], and have known truly that I came out from thee, and have believed that thou sentest me.

Я дал им учение, которое Ты дал Мне, и они приняли его. Они поняли воистину, что Я пришёл от Тебя, и верят, что Ты послал Меня.

9

I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine,

Я молю Тебя за них. Не за всех людей мира молю Я, но лишь за тех, кого послал Ты ко Мне, ибо они принадлежат Тебе.

10

(and all that is mine is thine, and [all] that is thine mine,) and I am glorified in them.

10

Всё Моё — Твоё, и всё Твоё — Моё; через них прославился Я.

11

And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we.

Я не принадлежу больше миру, а они принадлежат. Я иду к Тебе, Святой Отец, охрани же их во имя Твоё, которое Ты Мне дал, чтобы были они едины, как едины Мы с Тобой.

12

When I was with them I kept them in thy name; those thou hast given me I have guarded, and not one of them has perished, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Когда Я был с ними, Я охранял их властью имени Твоего, которую Ты даровал Мне. Я защищал их, и никто из них не сгинул, кроме одного, который обречён был на погибель во исполнение сказанного в Писании. Теперь же Я ухожу к Тебе.

And now I come to thee. And these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.

Но Я говорю всё это пока ещё в мире, чтобы они узнали в полной мере, как велико Моё ликование, и сохранили его в сердцах своих.

14

I have given them thy word, and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

14

Я принёс им учение Твоё, но мир возненавидел их, ибо они не принадлежат миру сему, как и Я не принадлежу ему.

15

I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil.

15

Я не прошу, чтобы Ты взял их из мира, прошу лишь, чтобы Ты охранил их от зла.

16

They are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

16

Они не от мира сего, как и Я Сам.

17

Sanctify them by the truth: thy word is truth.

17

Освяти же их на служение Себе через истину. Учение Твоё есть истина.

18

As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world;

18

Как Ты послал Меня в мир, так и Я послал их в мир.

19

and I sanctify myself for them, that they also may be sanctified by truth.

19

Я отдаю Себя на служение Тебе от их имени, чтобы и они могли посвятить себя служению Тебе через истину.

20

Prayer for all Believers

And I do not demand for these only, but also for those who believe on me through their word;

20

Я молю Тебя за них, и не только за них, но за всех, кто верует в Меня, благодаря учению, которое эти люди несут другим.

21

that they may be all one, as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

21

Молю Тебя, чтобы даровал Ты им единение. Ты во Мне, и Я в Тебе. Пусть же и они станут едины с Нами, чтобы уверовал мир, что Я послан Тобой.

22

And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one;

22

Я принёс им славу, которую Ты даровал мне, чтобы они стали едины, как едины Ты и Я.

23

I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one [and] that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and [that] thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

23

Я в них, а Ты во Мне. Пусть же и они станут единым целым, дабы мир узнал, что Ты послал Меня, и возлюбил их так же, как Меня.

24

Father, [as to] those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before [the] foundation of [the] world.

Отец, Я хотел бы, чтобы те, кого Ты дал Мне, были со Мной там, где Я буду, чтобы увидели они славу Мою, дарованную Тобой, ибо Ты любил Меня ещё до сотворения мира.

25

Righteous Father, -- and the world has not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

Праведный Отец! Мир не знает Тебя, Я же знаю Тебя, как и они знают, что Ты послал Меня.

And I have made known to them thy name, and will make [it] known; that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them.

26

Я не только открыл им Тебя, но и впредь буду открывать им Тебя, чтобы та любовь, которую Ты даровал Мне, принадлежала и им, и Я продолжал жить в них".
