The Burial of Jesus
And after these things Joseph of Arimathaea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly through fear of the Jews, demanded of Pilate that he might take the body of Jesus: and Pilate allowed it. He came therefore and took away the body of Jesus.

And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. -
Jesus Buried in Joseph’s Tomb
After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus. -

Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. -

Після ж сього благав Пилата Йосиф з Ариматеї (бувши учеником Ісусовим, потайним же задля страху Жидівського), щоб зняти тїло Ісусове; й дозволив Пилат. Прийшов тодї і взяв тїло Ісусове. -
Згодом, Йосип із Ариматеї спитав у Пилата дозволу зняти Ісусове тіло з хреста. Він був учнем Ісуса, але тримав це в таємниці, бо боявся юдеїв. Отримавши дозвіл від Пилата, він пішов і зняв Ісусове тіло.

Потім Йо́сип із Арімате́ї, що був учень Ісуса, але потайни́й, — бо боявся юдеїв, — став просити Пилата, щоб тіло Ісусове взяти. І дозволив Пилат. Тож прийшов він, і взяв тіло Ісусове.

После этого Иосиф из Аримафеи попросил Пилата отдать ему тело Иисуса. Иосиф был учеником Иисуса, но тайным, из страха перед иудеями. С позволения Пилата он пришел и забрал тело.

Після цього Йосиф з Ариматеї, який був учнем Ісуса, — але таємним, оскільки боявся юдеїв, — попросив Пилата, щоби зняти тіло Ісуса. І Пилат дозволив. Тож прийшов і взяв Його тіло.
