as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the elderhood: from whom also, having received letters to the brethren, I went to Damascus to bring those also who were there, bound, to Jerusalem, to be punished.

As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the council of the elders, from whom I also received letters to the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished.

as the high priest and all the Council can themselves testify. I even obtained letters from them to their associates in Damascus, and went there to bring these people as prisoners to Jerusalem to be punished. -

The high priest and the whole council of elders can testify that this is so. For I received letters from them to our Jewish brothers in Damascus, authorizing me to bring the followers of the Way from there to Jerusalem, in chains, to be punished.

как засвидетельствует о мне первосвященник и все старейшины, от которых и письма взяв к братиям, живущим в Дамаске, я шёл, чтобы тамошних привести в оковах в Иерусалим на истязание.

як і первосвященик може мені бути свідком і вся старшина; я навіть брав від них листи до братів у Дамаску й ішов туди, щоб привести і тих, які там були, зв'язаними в Єрусалим, щоб їх покарати.

яко ж і архиєрей засьвідкує менї, і вся старшина, від котрих і листи взявши до братів, ішов я в Дамаск, щоб звязавши привести у Єрусалим тих, що там були, щоб скарано їх. -
Це можуть підтвердити первосвященики і всі члени ради старійшин. Саме від них я одержав листи до братів юдейських у Дамаску і пішов туди, щоб схопити Ісусових послідовників й привести їх як в’язнів до Єрусалиму для покарання.

як засві́дчить про мене первосвященик та вся старши́на. Я від них був узяв навіть листи́ на братів, і пішов до Дама́ску, щоб тамте́шніх зв'язати й приве́сти до Єрусалиму на кару.

Свидетели тому — первосвященник и весь Совет старейшин. Я даже получил от них письма к братьям в Дамаске и отправился туда, чтобы арестовать тех, кто там был, и привести их в Иерусалим для наказания.

як засвідчать про мене всі старші й первосвященик. Від них я одержав листи до братів у Дамаску й пішов, аби зв’язаними привести в Єрусалим для покарання тих, які там були.
